Hello and Welcome from Stewart

On 17th July 2012, Stewart Jackson-Cox takes over the tenancy of the Queen's Head, Bramfield.

A resident of the village and trained chef, Stewart has spent his working life in the Travel and Hospitality industry and is no stranger to the licensed trade having operated a number of hotels in that time.

Stewart is delighted to have been able to retain all existing staff with the handover. As customers you'll therefore see familiar faces behind the bar, in the kitchen and waiting at the tables.

The 'formula' for the Queen's Head will continue much as before and the continuity provided by the staff will also be reflected in the menu where you'll still find familiar favourites.

We plan, as always, to keep you posted on events here on the web-site and whereas some change at the Queen's Head is inevitable, we hope you'll like what's planned. As a foretaste of things to come, new garden furniture should be in place within the first few days. All we need now is for a proper summer to arrive. And we're working on that too!
