Live Music at the Queen's Head in March 2013
We're continuing our live music events featuring some of the best of our local talent.
There is no charge for admission to these events.
On these occasions we'll be serving meals from our regularly changing menu from 6:30pm onwards followed by two or more hours of musical entertainment.
It's often 'standing room only' at these events but by dining with us you'll be guaranteed a table.
Nevertheless, whether you choose to dine or not, we'll be delighted for you to join us and enjoy the music.
Fri 1st March from 8:30pm: Near Enough
A return visit to the Queen's Head for this local multi-genre band after their debut on New Years Eve.
Music from the 1960's to the present day.

Fri 8th March from 8:30pm: Matt Shepherd and Jon Buck
A return visit to the Queen's Head for this duo after their last visit in October 2012.
Matt Shepherd is a singer-songwriter whose original compositions blend lyrical insight with melodic acoustic intimacy. Matt's debut album 'The Village Idiot' was launched in August 2006 at Gig In The Park with great acclaim and interest.
Jon Buck is a professional guitarist/singer/songwriter who, in 2009, passed an advanced diploma examination to become a Licentiate of the London College of Music. As well as playing on Matt's debut album, Jon has recorded three CDs as a solo artist.
Matt and Jon will generally take requests for specific songs to be performed and openly invite singers from the floor to join them for a number or two.

Fri 22nd March from 8:30pm: The Michèle Bouchard Band
A first visit to the Queen's Head for this band, formed in 2012 to pursue a common interest in the 'cool' and 'smooth' jazz genre. The band plays an intoxicating mixture of mainstream jazz standards, Latin, Swing, French Café Jazz and Blues and have done so to great acclaim in the area.
The band features:-
